I have been decluttering for as long as I can remember. As a child, all I wanted was a fresh space to call my own. No matter our circumstances in life, we want an area or space we can call our own. Free of clutter and chaos where we can create our plans.
I understand that clutter happens not only in our spaces but in our heads (thoughts and beliefs) that causes us to feel stuck in life. I am here to help you to become uncluttered, achieve your goals, and enjoy your life.
My name is Lisa Giesler. As a professional organizer with a background in theology and counseling, I use a holistic approach to clearing clutter and calming life’s chaos. As the mother of two strong-willed young men and Nana to two beautiful little girls, I understand the family dynamics that can cause our spaces to remain untidy, but together we can create a plan that will allow you to conquer your monster.

In the Beginning…
A little more about me: growing up in New Orleans, I was known as the white tornado in my household because I was always putting things away. Since middle school, I have loved creating checklists, balancing homework, chores, and other responsibilities. My heart’s desire has always been to help people, and I have spent many years working on staff at my church.
I hold a Ministerial/Theology certificate through Global University/Berean School of the Bible and completed a 2-year program through Emerging Leaders Institute, a Life Transitions Certificate through the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), and a Life Coaching Certificate through the International Association of Professions Career College (IAP).
I started my business, A Time and Place for Everything, LLC in 2008 and have been a NAPO member ever since.
My first book, My Life is a Mess: Organizing 101, is appropriately named as one of my very first clients stated very clearly, “my life is a mess,” help me. It took another 5 years for the aha moment to arrive. That moment was the discovery in my own life that there was more to clutter than just a messy space. This was when I began my second book, Uncluttered: Discovering Strength and Purpose in the Chaos of Life.
My purpose is now to help you become uncluttered in life and guide you on your journey to find joy in your life.
As a graduate of the Speaker’s Academy through the NSA (National Speaker’s Association), I love speaking. My style is to use humor in addition to the serious conversation to educate my audiences. Following an engagement, it is my privilege to make myself available for conversation and questions with my audience. I enjoy the one-on-one conversation with the attendees.
It has been a highlight in my career to have been featured on ABC Live Well Network, KHOU Great Day Houston, FOX Houston Saturday Morning, and KPRC Houston Life. I have also been featured on Stafford TV, KTBU Cantonese TV, and being featured in print in the Houston Chronicle, Fort Bend Focus Magazine, and other local periodicals. You can also find me volunteering for various community and non-profit events.
